RMR MICRO MINERALS currently owns and operates 5 mines in different parts of Rajasthan and has applied for the leases of several others. Our total deposit size is estimated to be in excess of 6.5 million tons. With the growing importance of the Indian ceramic and glass industry, these deposits size position us critically, allowing us to monitor the quality of our final product throughout its entire value chain.

Our major mineral output is as follows:

Feldspar is one of the most abundant rock forming minerals in the earth's crust, mainly used in ceramic, glass and cement industries. A minor quantity of feldspar is also consumed by refractory, abrasive and electrode industries.

Due to the quality of our mines, and our meticulous inspection procedures, we have been recognized by various large ceramic manufacturers for the quality of our final product. We mine mainly alkali feldspars with Sodium or Potassium bases

2. Quartz and Other Silica Minerals

Quartz is a synonym for Silica (SiO2). Silica is one of the ubiquitous materials in the earth's crust. Quartz, Quartz crystals, quartzite, silica sand, sand (others) and moulding sand are all coined together in one generic name "silica minerals".

Quartz, Quartzite and silica sand are used in various industries like glass, refractory, foundry, ceramic, cosmetic, electrical and paints. The primary use of silica is in the manufacturing of all types of glassware, ceramics and ceramic glaze.

3. Limestone

Limestone is a calcareous sedimentary rock composed mainly of calcium carbonate present in a finely divided non-crystalline state. The major consumer of limestone is the cement industry accounting for 93% of limestone consumption. It is also used in the manufacturing of calcium carbide and bleaching powder used for purification of water. Other industries using limestone are glass, ceramic, paper, textile and tanning industry.

We recognize the importance of good quality mineral resources in ensuring the satisfaction of our customers, and eventually ceramic product users. We are constantly searching for new resource acquisitions, and are always open to exploring new mining opportunities.
